Wine of the Week with The Vintry
Each week The Vintry showcases a different local ‘Wine of the Week’, with guests being offered a tasting and told a little about the vineyard, grape variety and wine style. Fridays and Saturdays the winegrower may even be at The Vintry to add to your enjoyment. The next visit will be Toby Gillman from Gillmans with his outstanding Bordeaux blend on Frid 3 – Sat 4 February.

Matakana Farmers’ Market summertime fun
Yes, our famous Farmers’ Market is on every Saturday 8am to 1pm with heaps of fresh vegetables to make all those wonderful summertime holiday recipes. Reed Avos will be there with red pears Saturday 4th Feb. Four vege stalls are hosting all the new seasons produce – from beetroot to beans, tomatoes to potatoes.
The quirky young ‘statuettes’ are in full flight every Saturday and live music to keep you entertained as you munch your way round the stalls. Saturday28th, Auckland Anniversary weekend, it’s Blues & Rock group BLIND WILLY MOTEL. And into February, Latin swing group, LATAKANA; Dixieland Jazz from the MAHURANGI RAMBLERS; BLIND WILLIE MOTEL with the beautiful easy listening sound of EVEN SONG to take us throught to the end of the month.
