Matakana Farmers’ Market:

Come on out to our famous Farmers’ Market 8am – 1pm.   There are heaps of fresh vegetables to make all those wonderful summertime holiday recipes with four vege stalls hosting all the new seasons produce – from beetroot to beans, tomatoes to potatoes.

The quirky young ‘statuettes’ are in full flight most Saturdays and live music to keep you entertained as you munch your way round the stalls.  This Saturday it’s the beautiful easy listening sound of EVENSONG.  And the line-up for March is BLIND WILLY’s Blues & Soul sound, followed by something a bit different with ROSIE & THE WOODEN HEARTS.  EVENSONG again, then MAHURANGI RAMBLERS’ Dixieland Jazz and GIDDYUP with a bit of Funk.
